  1. Perfect -- and another where black and white adds so much. We're able to concentrate on the textures: the rippling sea (I feel sure this is salt water) and the nubbly rocks, even the folds of the towel as it wraps around the two "bathers" who, I suspect, will now turn and go and lie in the sun rather than plunging in. Love this.

  3. I think they're going to give it a miss. They've just got the suntan oil on and the warmth of those rocks is beckoning. The problem as I see it is who gets the big towel and who gets the little 'un to the right. I think that's what's really going on here... they're each politely tugging to win the big towel.

    All nonsense aside... it's a stunning pic. Love the b&w choice and the backs of the girls. Funny how it would lose all its magic if they were facing the camera. On top of all that is the happy reminder that, yes, Victoria, there IS a summer...
