An absolutely lovely and peaceful scene created here, Allison! Clever (one lens of required sunglasses), thoughtful (removed those sunglasses, carefully folded them on the table and just 'looked' out) and thought-provoking comp and POV. The viewer is pulled in and through (perhaps with a tantalizing sip on the way). Wasn't our WW group just chattering online about how to inject a sense of motion in a still life? Well, you've done just that!
"A Book of Verses underneath the Bough, A Jug of Wine, a Loaf of Bread--and Thou Beside me singing in the Wilderness-- Oh, Wilderness were Paradise enow! " What more need one say?
Oh hey -- and I just recognized the exact spot -- I believe we were seated at that same table at that wonderful vineyard restaurant outside of Oliver BC, just the other day!!!
The reflections are wonderful. On the table, in the wine glass. I like the way the rim of the white creates a double image of the mountain ridge. And that vertical line just to its left... is the photo taken from an inside table? Clean windows if that's the case. All such details aside... I'll have a sauv blanc and something with cheese. Order for me, willya? I may be a few hours getting there.
