I'm heading over for a snooze right away! Oops, it looks a bit damp. Perfect expression of damp neglect in fact, with that dismal grey wall behind and the raggedy damp grass in front. I wonder where???
Oh my lord. I love this. LOVE it. Where did you find it, and what surrounds it? This is important to know. It's really a wonderfully funky pattern. As you know, I scratch my head about why so much of this stuff is pitched... I think I'll create a new page on the upholSTORIES site for 'out of towners'... I'll link to this post. Thank you!
I'd be happy to be linked Carin! This beauty was sitting in the lane two blocks from here. I actually took this picture about 4 or 5 years ago on a lane walk. I sits against a small concrete wall behind an apartment building.
Definitely a theme of abandoned things in this week's offerings - so far, a toilet, a dory and a sofa. Looking forward to seeing what Barbara has posted (mine, being of my grandson, most definitely *isn't* about abandoned items though.) Anyway, it's a very nice photo apart from its thematic value for both the Upholsteries and abandoned items themes.
