Oh goodness, I thought it was ice too! It's art imitating nature, rather than the other way around. Delicately beautiful regardless, and especially striking against the blue of the sky. Where did you see this?
I also imagined a macro of ice. Must be the time of year persuading us to think frozen thoughts. Now that you say it's glass I see flower petals. What would Rorschach make of that I wonder?? Beautiful clarity and there's something about crystal clear and that shade of blue that are made for each other.
An ice sculpture ... artist, Nature. Beautiful capture, Allison, particularly against that gorgeous blue sky.
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, that is glass Cheryl! But I agree it looks like ice.

ReplyDeleteOh the delicacy and beauty. And I too assumed it was ice. Wherever did you find it. A perfect echo of the clarity of this chill chill sunny icy day.
ReplyDeleteSo blue, and so frilly! What is it?
