  1. This actually took my breath away for a moment. Gobsmackingly beautiful, Allison. Where is it? And what were you doing there? I want the whole story, including sandwich fillings in the event a picnic was involved.

  2. Carin, this is called Allendale Lake and is located in the hills east of Penticton off a gravel road. There are camp sites nearby but alas we were unprepared for a picnic when we discovered it!

  3. I'll have to start making a list of all the places to see next time we come out. Were hoping for this year but P. has a conference in Halifax, so it's east we're headed... Also, Banbury Green didn't have any availability for the days we 'were' able to come out. But... you're saying there's camping at this site??

  4. How serene and absolutely beautiful. And perfectly composed: the two black stumps in the foreground balancing the dark straight verticals behind: but above all the soft sweet colours, the sense of peace. Breathtaking.
