There is something so poetic about these sweet feet in their pink and white socks and it reminded me of the scene in Out of Africa where the man played by Robert Redford says something about how there's a poem for so many body parts but none about the foot. So I googled poems about children's feet and did find two but they are both depressing (one by Pablo Neruda and one by Gabriela Mistral - coincidentally both Chilean - huh!) so I won't share them here but will just leave the comment about how sweet these feet are. (Actually, I think the Robert Redford character said there aren't any poems about feet because nothing rhymes with "foot" -but "sweet" rhymes with "feet"!)
Mmmmm! How sweet. Those darling feet, on the road to life!
ReplyDeleteFeet say so much. LOVE this... and love imagining the time you're having. This pic is truly worth a thousand words...
