There is something almost abstract about this; if you didn't 'see' the picture of it (say, if you kept it small and squinted and didn't bother finding your glasses), it's all geometry and tonal qualities and it comes across as a really exquisite 'painting'. But then, then (!)... you enlarge the photo and it's all tables that need clearing and sunlight and stone walls and leather booths and WHAT A GREAT SHOT... the absence of people yet the sweet debris of them is there, evidence of the comings and goings (and is that a person behind the screen on the left?). Gorgeous. And I don't want to know what the actual colour scheme of the room is. I prefer to forever imagine it like this.
